Think Escape Games: Frequently Asked Questions
At Think Escape Games, we pride ourselves on providing an exciting experience for all of our guests. We know that there can be a lot of questions when it comes to booking an escape room, so we’ve compiled a list of FAQs to help you out. From pricing and group size to cancellations and FAQ, we’ve got you covered.
What is an escape room?
An escape room, also known as an escape game, is a game in which a team of players cooperatively discover clues, solve puzzles, and accomplish tasks in one or more rooms in order to progress and accomplish a specific goal in a limited amount of time. The goal is often to escape from the site of the game.
How much does a game cost?
$38/player for our regular games
There is no charge for children under the age of 5 years old and does not count towards the minimum number of people required to book a room. Children under 3 must be kept securely in a carrier or stroller at all times while in the room
Occasionally, we offer special holiday games that will have their own pricing. These can be found on the booking page or on the room description pages when available.
We also offer 10% discount to seniors and military with ID.
What is your cancellation policy?
We only charge for a one player deposit up front for reservations.
All sales are final. Deposits will only be refunded if Cancellation Insurance is purchased at the time of booking and the request to cancel is sent before the booking time and date.
Where can I Park?
It can be hard to find parking on the weekends, but limited FREE VIP PARKING is available in front of Think Escape Games during your game.
If no parking attendant is on duty, drive past the No Parking/Special Event signs and look for the marked Escape Room parking spaces.
If there is a parking attendant on duty, tell them you have a reservation at Think Escape Games.
All vehicles must be moved 15 minutes after your game ends.
How clean and safe are these games?
We take safety measures seriously! All areas and items are sanitized before and after each game, plastic gloves are provided and all reservations are private. You will be working on your escape only with your own group. In addition, we make sure each group starts at a different time, eliminating unnecessary contact with other groups.
Also you are never really locked in! so you can exit any time during the game.
When should we arrive?
We request that your group arrives 15 minutes prior to the reservation start time. This allows you time to complete waivers, go over the rules and story, get a drink and use the restroom.
If you are running late we will try to accommodate you but depending on the time and other reservations we may not be able to give you the full game time. There are no refunds for late arrivals.
Do you take walk-ins?
We do accept Walk-Ins, however, we cannot guarantee a specific game will be available if you do not reserve on our website ahead of time. We recommend that you reserve online so we can prepare the game for you.
What if I need to reschedule the game?
24-Hour Rescheduling Window: You may reschedule your game up to 24 hours in advance at no additional cost.
Last-Minute Rescheduling (Within 24 Hours of Game Time):
If you request to reschedule within 24 hours of your game time, we will require up front payment of the remaining balance for the game if you did NOT purchase Cancellation Insurance.
If you later decide to cancel after rescheduling, no refunds will be provided.
What is your refund policy?
We do not offer refunds. There are also no refunds for group size additions or reductions after your booking is made. Any players added on the day of the game, pay the same per person rate as the participants in the original booking.
What is the age requirement?
Our games are suitable for all ages, although, we recommend 14+ due to the complexity and depth of the challenges you will encounter. We do suggest that groups with children under the age of 14 be accompanied by at least one adult. If you have a youth group, please contact us in advance so we can make arrangements at orlando@thinkescapegames.com
If you have children under the age of 5 they must be in a stroller or carried the ENTIRE time inside of the game. The location is not child proofed and we are not responsible for any injuries.
Are the rooms scary?
Our rooms are goofy and very entertaining. 🙂For the most part they are not scary. Just scary fun.
Smoke & Mirror’s is a little creepy, some may consider it scary.
Two Can Keep a Secret is our scary game. It is not deadly scary but it is not for the faint of heart.
How long are the games?
Games usually last about an hour depending on the team’s performance. If you are planning other events around the game, two hours would be ideal to set aside for the entire event.
How can we book a large group?
Contact us with your desired date and time and the number of players in your group. We will arrange the schedule for your event accordingly.
How many people can play simultaneously?
Bubba’s Basement Bargains – min is 2 people, max is 8 people
Exit Protocol – min is 2 people, max is 9 people
Two Can Keep a Secret – min is 2 people, max is 9 people (4+ is recommended)
Smoke and Mirrors – min is 2 people, max is 8 people (3-4 is recommended)
Minimum and Maximum numbers is based on the size of the rooms and the number of puzzles.

Do you sell alcohol?
Yes we have a beer, wine and sake bar and you can take your drinks in the game with you. Make sure not to spill it…
Do you offer catering?
We work with multiple local restaurants in the area that offer catering and most of them are familiar with our setup and would be more than happy to help you organize all of your catering needs. However, food can only be brought in if booking an event.
What if I am claustrophobic?
Not an issue. The games are large and the doors are never really locked so you can exit at any time during the game.
Can we have a private game even if we have less than 8 players?
All games are booked privately, meaning you will only be playing with your own group.
Can we reserve a game outside of Think's regular business hours?
Yes, we can set up games outside of normal hours. Please contact us with the desired date, time, and number of players in your group so we can make arrangements.
Is there a place to hang out and socialize before and after games?
Yes, we have a bar/lounge area where participants can hang out, play games, have a drink at the bar, etc…
Can we reserve the entire facility for our event?
Sure! Please contact us with the date, time, number of players in your group, and the length of your desired event and we will get back to you with a price quote. You can also check our Event Booking Page for some of our package pricing.
What if I am not sure how many people will attend with me?
No problem! Simply reserve your desired game online for your group and we can adjust that number upon arrival.
